Trainer/Training Developer

In collaboration with the Queensland State Government, Emanate Technology is looking for an experienced Trainer/Training Developer to support a large-scale digital transformation project. This role suits someone passionate about creating engaging, user-focused learning experiences that empower employees to confidently adopt new systems and processes.
 
What you’ll be doing

• Scoping learning needs with subject matter experts, project leads, and key stakeholders.
• Designing engaging and accessible learning solutions aligned to project milestones.
• Developing high-quality training materials, including eLearning, videos, guides, and job aids.
• Delivering interactive and effective virtual and face-to-face training sessions.
• Supporting train-the-trainer initiatives and mentoring internal facilitators.
• Evaluating learning effectiveness using participant feedback and performance data.
• Collaborating with change and communications teams to ensure consistent messaging.
• Leveraging digital tools such as Microsoft 365 and learning management systems to enhance engagement.
• Maintaining version control and ensuring content remains current, inclusive, and relevant.

• Experience delivering end-to-end learning design and facilitation within complex projects.
• Proficiency applying adult learning principles and digital learning methodologies.
• Skill in creating eLearning and blended content using platforms like Articulate or Adobe Captivate or Camtasia.
• Ability managing competing priorities in fast-paced, collaborative environments.
• Confidence engaging and facilitating across diverse stakeholder groups.
• Knowledge using learning management systems to coordinate and measure learning outcomes.

• Experience delivering training within government, justice, or other highly regulated sectors.
• Holding a Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (TAE40116 or equivalent).
• Understanding of government ICT frameworks, standards, and compliance requirements.
