Emanate Technology is proud to partner with a leading utilities company in their search for an experienced Test Analyst. You’ll be joining an established, collaborative team supporting multiple ongoing projects across web applications and integrations.
This role will suit someone who can hit the ground running, with strong functional and manual testing expertise and the ability to work closely with both business and technical stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
- Test websites, applications, and system integrations.
- Analyse user stories, use cases, and acceptance criteria for feasibility.
- Create and execute detailed test scripts, plans, and cases across system, integration, and regression testing.
- Contribute to the development of test strategies.
- Collaborate with business SMEs to ensure coverage of requirements.
- Facilitate meetings and coordinate sign-off for test documentation.
- Support UAT and PVT testing processes, including development of UAT scripts.
- Manage bug tracking and prioritisation via Azure DevOps.
- Produce test reports and provide clear communication to stakeholders.
- Contribute to Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, backlog refinement, and retrospectives.
- 2+ years’ testing experience across websites, integrations, and general QA.
- Strong background in manual and functional testing.
- Experience designing and delivering test plans and reports.
- Hands-on experience with Agile delivery environments.
- Cross-browser and multi-device testing experience.
- Strong stakeholder management and collaboration skills.
- Ability to work autonomously, prioritise workloads, and deliver under competing deadlines.
- Canberra-based candidates only.
- Experience developing test strategies.
- Familiarity with HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
- Experience testing APIs.
- Exposure to Azure DevOps, Sitecore, or Gentrack Velocity.
- Experience in the energy sector.
