Emanate Technology is proud to partner with a long-standing Federal Government client on a newly funded Greenfields project. This is a rare opportunity to shape a major initiative from the ground up.
We are seeking a seasoned Technical Lead to guide the development team through the design, delivery, and deployment of secure, scalable web based solutions. This role requires strong leadership, hands on technical expertise, and a commitment to best practice software engineering within a DevOps driven environment.

About the Role
As the Technical Lead, you’ll be responsible for overseeing the entire development lifecycle from architecture and code quality to deployment processes and team mentoring. You’ll lead a distributed team using Agile and DevOps frameworks to deliver secure, high-performance solutions using Microsoft Dynamics 365, .NET, and Azure.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the technical delivery of a major Greenfields program, ensuring alignment with architectural and security standards.
  • Oversee design, development, deployment, and support across multiple environments.
  • Implement and champion DevOps principles (more process and practice than just tooling).
  • Guide a multidisciplinary team using Agile and SCRUM methodologies.
  • Establish and enforce development best practices and coding standards.
  • Provide hands-on support and expert advice to address complex technical challenges.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders and leadership to deliver quality outcomes.
Essential Experience
  • 5+ years delivering secure web-based business solutions using:
  • Microsoft Dynamics 365
  • .NET technologies
  • Azure cloud services
  • Strong experience with CI/CD pipelines, DevOps methodologies, and related tools.
  • Proven track record in leading Agile delivery teams in hybrid and distributed environments.
  • Deep understanding of development frameworks, secure coding practices, and deployment processes.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to advise, troubleshoot, and influence at all levels.
Security & Location Requirements
  • Must be an Australian Citizen
  • Baseline AGSVA Security Clearance required (or the ability to obtain)
What’s on Offer
  • Long term contract with a well funded federal department.
  • Flexible hybrid working model, Canberra-based preferred.
  • Work on a high profile, nationally significant Greenfields project.
  • Opportunity for security clearance sponsorship for eligible candidates.
  • Collaborative, supportive team culture
How to Apply
This is a critical role with interviews taking place shortly.
