What you will be doing:
- Fix security issues by applying patches, updating systems, and making configuration changes.
- Manage the full process of fixing vulnerabilities - planning the work, getting approvals, testing, and rolling out changes.
- Help design automated patching methods that meet Essential 8 requirements.
- Set up automated tools to regularly deploy operating system and application updates across servers, computers, and IoT devices.
- Use Group Policy, Intune, or scripts to fix configuration problems across servers, workstations, mobiles, and IoT devices.
- Around 5+ years working in IT Operations, Systems Administration, or similar technical roles.
- Hands-on experience setting up and supporting a mix of infrastructure such as Windows Servers, Active Directory, SQL clusters, Commvault, Group Policy, VMware, mobile devices, and IoT devices.
- Experience managing Intune, Azure Update Manager, and server monitoring tools.
- Good understanding of ITIL or similar IT service management practices.
- Recent experience working on vulnerability management in large or complex environments (enterprise, corporate, or government).
