I'm currently working with a well-established software development company that delivers investigative case management solutions to clients across law enforcement, regulatory, and national security sectors. They’re looking to bring a Junior IT Infrastructure & Cybersecurity Technologist
into their Canberra-based team.
This is a fantastic opportunity for someone early in their tech career who’s looking to develop hands-on skills across cloud infrastructure, security, and systems management in a flexible, close-knit environment. What You’ll Do
- Manage, secure, and maintain a range of internal and customer-facing infrastructure.
- Support a wide array of technologies including:
- Microsoft Azure: Azure SQL, VMs, vNets, Firewalls, App Services, Sentinel.
- Microsoft 365 & Intune, including associated security tools.
- Windows Domains and related server infrastructure.
- Physical hardware: desktops, servers, storage arrays, networking gear.
- Assist with the deployment and maintenance of software environments across development and production.
- Monitor system health, availability, and security posture.
- Contribute to cybersecurity processes and incident response activities.
- Work closely with developers and the CTO on maintaining and improving infrastructure standards and practices.
To be successful, you’ll need:
- Some hands-on experience (professional or personal) with cloud, infrastructure, or security tools.
- A solid conceptual understanding of IT systems, networks, and security principles.
- A willingness to learn and take ownership of new challenges.
- Australian citizenship and the ability to obtain (or already hold) an NV1 security clearance.
