Emanate Technology is proud to partner with ASC, Australia’s submarine company, to recruit a Solutions Architect (Applications) to support enterprise software and application platforms across multiple business units.
ASC plays a critical role in Australia’s national security and industrial capability, with large-scale programs supported by complex, enterprise-wide technology ecosystems spanning corporate, engineering, and operational environments.
The Opportunity This role is focused on enterprise software and applications architecture across a broad portfolio of systems that support the entire business.
You will work across platforms covering:
- Corporate IT systems
- Enterprise business applications (ERP, document management, workflow)
- Engineering and operational systems
- Integration and data platforms
Key Responsibilities
- Define and deliver solution architecture across enterprise applications
- Translate business requirements into scalable, integrated software solutions
- Govern solution design across multiple projects and business units
- Ensure alignment with enterprise architecture, standards and roadmaps
- Work closely with stakeholders across IT, business and operational teams
- Evaluate and recommend technology solutions across application ecosystems
- Support business case development and project planning
- Participate in architecture governance and review forums
You will bring:
- 10+ years’ experience across ICT solution delivery (applications, integration, middleware)
- 3+ years as a Solution Architect designing enterprise solutions
- Strong experience across enterprise applications, integrations and software platforms
- Ability to design solutions across multiple business domains (corporate, operational, engineering systems)
- Strong stakeholder engagement and communication skills
- Ability to translate business needs into practical, scalable solutions
- Experience in complex or regulated environments
- Exposure to PLM, ERP or document/workflow systems
- Experience supporting engineering or manufacturing systems
- Defence industry experience or eligibility for clearance
- Work on large-scale enterprise platforms supporting critical national programs
