We’re seeking an experienced Azure Solutions Architect to lead large-scale cloud migration programs and design secure, enterprise-grade Azure tenets within Federal Government environments.
This role is ideal for someone who has delivered structured, secure migrations from on-premises infrastructure into Azure and understands how to build compliant cloud foundations from day one.
The Role
You will take ownership of the architecture and execution of Azure migration strategies, ensuring environments are scalable, secure and aligned to government security frameworks.
Key responsibilities include:
- Designing and implementing Azure Landing Zones aligned to Microsoft Cloud Adoption Framework
- Establishing subscription design, management groups and governance guardrails
- Leading end-to-end cloud migration programs (discovery, assessment, design, execution, optimisation)
- Architecting secure connectivity (ExpressRoute, VPN, hybrid identity)
- Designing identity and access models using Microsoft Entra ID
- Implementing Azure Policy, cost governance and operational controls
- Ensuring alignment with PSPF, ISM and Essential Eight controls
- Working closely with engineering teams to oversee migration delivery
- Engaging with senior stakeholders to shape cloud roadmaps and transition strategies
- Lead complex, enterprise-scale cloud transformations

- Proven experience leading Azure migration programs in enterprise or government environments
- Strong hands-on experience designing Azure Landing Zones at scale
- Deep understanding of:
- Subscription and tenant architecture
- Governance, RBAC and policy enforcement
- Hybrid connectivity and identity design
- Migration tooling (Azure Migrate, ASR, etc.)
- Experience working within regulated or security-sensitive environments
- Ability to translate business and compliance requirements into structured cloud design
- Azure Solutions Architect Expert (AZ-305)
- Experience supporting IRAP or protected-level environments
- Experience modernising legacy infrastructure during migration
