In collaboration with the Queensland State Government, Emanate Technology is looking for an experienced Solution Architect
to support a major digital transformation project, focused on modernising legacy systems and delivering secure, cloud-based services.
This is a hands-on role with strong leadership responsibilities across Azure platforms and enterprise solution design.
What you’ll be doing
- Scoping and leading solution architecture activities and outcomes across a large-scale government project
- Developing, maintaining and implementing solution architecture that defines common patterns and practices
- Reviewing and interpreting detailed business requirements to design strategic, fit-for-purpose solutions
- Creating technical diagrams and documentation aligned with enterprise architecture standards
- Managing and conducting all ICT architecture activities for the project team
- Providing architecture leadership to team members, including resolving complex technical challenges
- Working with technical teams and vendors to deliver the solution within Azure
- Collaborating with test teams to ensure UAT, performance and security (Pen) testing is conducted effectively
- Advising on emerging technologies and their relevance to business needs
- Ensuring solution designs align with government frameworks and integration standards
What you need to bring
- Experience working with Azure technologies is essential
- Demonstrated ability to lead and deliver solution architecture in large-scale transformation programs
- Proven ability to manage ICT architecture activities and collaborate with multi-disciplinary technical teams
- Delivered architecture solutions using government or enterprise frameworks
- Shown a strong understanding of Microsoft technology stacks and modern development practices (.NET)
- High level interpersonal and communication skills with proven stakeholder engagement experience

Important to know
- It is expected that the successful candidate will work on-site 4 days per week with one day work from home.
