The successful candidate will work closely with Program and Support teams to configure, administer, and enhance the ServiceNow platform. You will translate business needs into maintainable solutions using out‑of‑the‑box capabilities first, supported by low/no‑code configuration where required. A key responsibility is ensuring high‑quality documentation and structured knowledge transfer to support teams.
Key Responsibilities Work with Support Teams to:
- Provide day‑to‑day platform administration (user/group management, roles, integrations, performance tuning).
- Configure and extend ServiceNow applications across multiple modules.
- Coordinate instance lifecycle management across lower and production environments.
- Implement strong access controls, platform hardening, and adherence to security requirements.
- Support integration implementations and ensure platform monitoring and alerting.
- Provide SME guidance, training, and enablement to support teams and power users.
- Lead structured knowledge‑transfer activities: training sessions, walkthroughs, handover packs, capability uplift.
- Contribute to standards, reference architectures, patterns, and reusable components.
- Complete other duties as required to support business needs.
- Align configurations to future‑state architecture and guardrails.
- Build and optimise workflows and service portals.
- Partner with process and system owners to develop and standardise data models.
- Establish coding/configuration standards to minimise technical debt.
- Ensure creation of platform documentation, technical designs, configuration standards, and SOPs.
- Ensure all new solutions include documentation and knowledge artefacts prior to release.
- 3+ years administering and configuring ServiceNow across multiple modules.
- Relevant ServiceNow certifications.
- Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills across business and ICT.
- Ability to translate business needs into maintainable ServiceNow platform solutions.
