The Opportunity We are seeking a motivated and customer‑focused Service Desk Analyst to join a fast‑paced ICT Operations team. This role is responsible for providing timely, high‑quality ICT support to internal staff and ensuring a positive end‑user experience.
You will be the first point of contact for ICT enquiries and play a key role in supporting day‑to‑day business operations within a secure, highly regulated environment.
Key Responsibilities As a Service Desk Analyst, you will:
- Provide first‑ and second‑level ICT support via phone, email, and service management tools
- Log, triage, and resolve incidents and service requests in line with ITIL best practice and service level agreements
- Troubleshoot hardware, software, network, and user access issues
- Support end‑user computing environments, including Windows, Microsoft 365, and enterprise applications
- Escalate complex or unresolved issues to specialist support teams and vendors
- Maintain accurate incident records, documentation, and knowledge base articles
- Contribute to service improvement initiatives and operational efficiencies
- Comply with organisational security, governance, and ICT policies
- Demonstrated experience in a Service Desk or ICT support role
- Strong communication skills and a customer‑focused approach
- Experience supporting Microsoft Windows, Microsoft 365, and standard enterprise applications
- Working knowledge of ITIL‑aligned service management processes
- Ability to manage competing priorities and resolve issues efficiently
- Sound understanding of information security principles
- Experience working in government or other highly regulated environments
- Exposure to ITSM tools such as ServiceNow (or similar)
- ITIL Foundation certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Experience supporting hybrid and remote work environments
- Applicants must be Australian citizens
- The successful applicant must be able to obtain and maintain a NV1 Clearence
