Canberra | Onsite | High-impact leadership role in a secure environment
An opportunity has opened for an experienced Service Delivery Manager to step into a pivotal leadership role within a secure, fast-paced environment. This part-time position (2.5 days per week) is ideal for someone who thrives on structure, autonomy, and making things happen, without the full-time grind.
You’ll be leading a high-performing technical services team and acting as the critical link between operations, stakeholders, and delivery outcomes. With one of our long-standing leaders moving internally, we’re looking for someone to take the reins, and keep the engine running smoothly.
What You’ll Be Doing:
- Owning stakeholder relationships and acting as the face of the service delivery function
- Leading technical teams across service desk, infrastructure, and development support
- Managing reporting, timesheets, invoicing, and performance metrics with precision
- Overseeing subcontractor and third-party activity to ensure smooth, consistent delivery
- Balancing competing priorities, managing escalations, and driving strategic improvements
- Advising on infrastructure, virtual environments, and software operations with confidence
- 3+ years’ experience managing teams – ideally across technical and service delivery functions
- Strong track record managing budgets, reporting, and vendor/subcontractor performance
- NV2 Security Clearance (essential – please do not apply without this)
- Deep understanding of infrastructure, SDLC, and service operations
- Calm, confident communicator with sharp stakeholder skills and sound judgement
- Background in Defence or secure environments highly regarded, but not essential
- Strong customer service mindset and conflict resolution capability
- Part-time (2.5 days/week)
