We are seeking an experienced Senior Server Engineer
with strong Citrix expertise to join a high-performing ICT infrastructure team. This role involves delivering critical work to refresh ageing infrastructure and supporting the adoption of automated deployments across a diverse virtualised environment.
The successful candidate will bring extensive technical knowledge, hands-on experience, and the ability to provide end-to-end solutions across Microsoft, VMware, Nutanix, and Citrix technologies.
Key Responsibilities
- Act as a senior technical specialist, delivering enterprise-level solutions.
- Implement and support Microsoft Server (up to 2022) in large-scale environments.
- Design, build, support, and troubleshoot virtualised server environments (VMware and Nutanix).
- Manage and optimise complex Citrix environments.
- Lead system changes, upgrades, and relocations.
- Prepare high-quality technical documentation.
- Collaborate with internal teams and external vendors to coordinate solutions.
- Analyse and resolve complex enterprise hardware and software issues.
- Contribute to the adoption of automation and modern deployment practices.
About You:
- You’re an experienced ICT professional with a proven background in delivering enterprise-scale infrastructure solutions.
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft Server (up to 2022) in enterprise environments.
- Hands-on experience managing and optimising Citrix environments.
- Expertise with virtualisation technologies, particularly VMware and Nutanix.
- A current and active NV2 security clearance(mandatory).
- Thrive in team environments and take pride in delivering quality outcomes.
- Can communicate complex technical concepts clearly to non-technical stakeholders.
