About the role:
The Senior/Lead IT Infrastructure Engineer is responsible for designing and implementing complex systems and solutions within the organization's Corporate and Operational Technology environments. They ensure smooth integration, provide continuous support whilst troubleshooting any technical issues. Additionally, they work closely with cross-functional teams to enhance infrastructure performance and ensure system reliability.
Key responsibilities include:
- Design, implement, and support complex ICT and IT solutions, including VMware, Dell, Aruba, and Palo Alto systems
- Provide Level 3 technical support for network, virtualization, compute, and storage systems
- Participate in Data Centre ICT commissioning and DevOps automation activities
- Ensure compliance with design guidelines, policies, and standards
- Develop and maintain documentation, procedures, and stakeholder relationships
- Assist with incident resolution, vendor liaison, and strategic technical improvements
You the successful candidate will have proven experience in deploying, configuring, and managing virtualised infrastructure and systems, including Windows and Linux virtual machines. The ideal candidate should also have proven working experience in working with enterprise network infrastructure, including switches, routers, firewalls, and wireless access points.
- Previous working experience with Microsoft Azure and M365
- Proficiency in ICT monitoring tools and scripting (Bash, PowerShell, Python)
- Familiarity with automation tools, preferably Ansible
