About the role:
Emanate are currently looking for multiple Senior Consults that would have experience across either NSX, VCF, vSphere, VMware Aria or ESXi. Ideally this experience would be at the Architecture level but this is not essential as there are roles across different levels. Our client has a large pipeline of signed work to deliver across different sectors including Commercial, Federal Government and Defence sectors in Melbourne. Key responsibilities could include:
- Design, deploy, and manage VMware Cloud Foundation environments.
- Implement and maintain VMware Aria Suite
- Automate infrastructure provisioning and lifecycle process using Aria Automation.
- Proactively monitor and optimise system performance, capacity, and availability.
- Develop and maintain blueprints, workflows, and automation scripts to support self-service capabilities.
- Integrate VMware platforms with third-party tools and services as required.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support business and application requirements.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of system designs, configurations, and procedures.
- 5+ years of hands-on experience with VMware technologies
- VMware certifications such as VCP or VCAP are highly regarded
- Long term contracts with extensions
- New breed VMware product experience and exposure

Highly Desirable:
- Australian Citizenship with Clearance (NV1/NV2/PV) - This is not essential as not all work will require a clearance there are also many opportunities not in Fed Gov or Defence.
