About the Role
As the Senior Project Manager, you will be responsible for the end-to-end planning, governance and delivery of a major Payroll and Time & Attendance workstream. You will lead project execution from initiation through to implementation and operational transition, ensuring outcomes are delivered on time, within budget and aligned to business objectives.
Working within a complex organisational environment, you will partner closely with business leaders, technology teams, vendors and external stakeholders to ensure successful delivery and adoption of the solution.
What you will be doing
- Lead the planning, execution and delivery of a large-scale Payroll and Time & Attendance project.
- Define project scope, objectives, deliverables and success criteria in collaboration with key stakeholders.
- Develop and manage project schedules, milestones, dependencies and critical paths.
- Provide clear and timely communication to project teams, executives and stakeholders.
- Monitor project progress, identify risks and issues, and implement effective mitigation strategies.
- Lead multidisciplinary project teams, consultants and contractors to drive accountability and delivery outcomes.
- Oversee change management, service transition, support readiness and hypercare activities.
- Establish sustainable support and service delivery models in partnership with operational teams.
- Support resource planning, workforce management and vendor engagement activities throughout the project lifecycle.
- Demonstrated experience delivering successful Human Capital Management System (HCMS) implementations within large and complex organisations.
- Significant experience leading enterprise-scale payroll, workforce management, HRIS or HCM transformation projects.
- Strong project leadership capabilities with experience managing multidisciplinary teams and vendors.
- Proven ability to manage competing priorities and deliver outcomes in high-pressure environments.
- Expertise in project governance, risk management, stakeholder engagement and executive reporting.
- Outstanding communication, influencing and relationship management skills.
- Ability to navigate complex organisational environments with political sensitivity and professionalism.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to research, understand and apply new technologies and solutions.
- Experience with SAP SuccessFactors Payroll, Employee Central Payroll (ECP), Time & Attendance or broader SAP ERP implementations.
- PRINCE2 Practitioner certification or equivalent project management qualification.
- Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Project and enterprise project management tools.
- Experience delivering large-scale payroll transformation programs within highly regulated or complex environments.
