We’re seeking a Senior Project Manager to lead delivery of a complex data and digital platform underpinning a large-scale, statewide reform program focused on improving outcomes for children and families.
This role sits within a high-profile transformation environment and will be critical in establishing and delivering a new data capability to support integrated service delivery, improved decision-making, and cross-agency collaboration.
Based in Brisbane, you’ll operate across multiple stakeholders, vendors, and delivery streams in a fast-paced and evolving program setting.
What you will be doing
- Lead end-to-end delivery of a data and digital platform within a broader transformation program
- Manage project planning, scheduling, and delivery across technical and business workstreams
- Coordinate data integration, reporting, and platform implementation activities
- Work closely with architects, data teams, and vendors to ensure alignment to design and delivery outcomes
- Drive program governance including reporting, risk/issue management, and stakeholder briefings
- Manage dependencies across multiple agencies and delivery partners
- Support the uplift of data capability, governance, and information sharing practices
- Ensure the platform supports service integration, performance insights, and evidence-based decision making
- Lead engagement with senior stakeholders across government and external providers
- Proven experience delivering data platforms, analytics solutions, or digital transformation programs as a Senior Project Manager
- Strong background in complex government or enterprise environments
- Experience managing technical delivery across data, integration, and platform build streams
- Ability to translate between business outcomes and technical implementation
- Demonstrated success working across multi-agency or federated program environments
- Strong governance capability including reporting to executive and steering committees
- Excellent stakeholder engagement skills, with the ability to influence across technical and non-technical audiences
- Experience managing vendor delivery and multi-stream dependencies
- Exposure to data-driven reform programs in health, disability, child safety, or social services
- Experience with data governance, information sharing frameworks, or privacy considerations
- Familiarity with cloud-based data platforms (e.g. Azure, AWS) or enterprise data ecosystems
- Experience supporting policy implementation through digital/data capability uplift
- Background working in early intervention, community services, or outcomes-based service models
