Emanate Technology is partnering exclusively with ASC to recruit multiple PLM Engineers who will help build, configure and support the next generation of PLM capability.
Help shape the next generation of PLM for Australia’s submarine fleet.
ASC is delivering a significant digital transformations, replacing its legacy PLM system with Siemens Teamcenter to support the Collins Class submarine fleet.
This is a hands‑on technical role where you’ll work directly on Teamcenter configuration, deployment and integration across on‑premise and cloud environments. If you enjoy solving complex technical problems and making PLM systems work smoothly, this is the perfect opportunity.
What You’ll Do
- Configure Teamcenter data models (objects, attributes, relationships, LOVs).
- Build workflows and lifecycles using BMID and Workflow Manager.
- Configure and enhance Active Workspace (UI, views, role‑based screens).
- Support deployments, upgrades and environment management via Deployment Center.
- Assist integration teams connecting Teamcenter with ERP and engineering systems (e.g., OpenPDM).
- Provide Level 2/3 technical support and drive continuous improvement.
- Contribute to a multi‑year PLM transformation.
- Light customisation (Java, ITK/C++), but the focus is on smart configuration, not heavy bespoke development.
You’re a technical PLM specialist who enjoys building, configuring and improving PLM systems — not just documenting processes.
You bring:
- Experience with Teamcenter or similar PLM platforms (Windchill, Enovia, Aras).
- Hands on configuration experience (data models, workflows, lifecycles).
- Understanding of deployments, upgrades, patching and environment management.
- Strong problem‑solving skills and ability to translate business workflows into technical solutions.
- Direct Teamcenter experience (Active Workspace, BMID, Workflow Manager, Deployment Center).
- Experience with Azure DevOps or similar CI/CD tools.
- Java or ITK/C++ experience in a PLM context.
- Adelaide or Remote work within Australia
- Australian citizenship is mandatory(security clearance eligibility).
