About the Roles
We're hiring two
Network Security Engineers - each with a different focus, but both critical to supporting secure, modern network environments:
Role 1: Internal Systems Engineer
Work as part of the internal engineering team, responsible for managing and improving the company’s own infrastructure and security posture. You'll have autonomy and room to innovate, working with best-of-breed tools in a highly technical environment.
Role 2: Projects & Client Delivery Engineer
Embedded within a broader consulting team, this role will see you work across multiple clients, delivering secure network solutions in fast-paced project environments. This is an excellent opportunity to build breadth across technologies and industry sectors.
Key Responsibilities (Both Roles):
- Design, configure, and maintain secure network environments across firewalls, routing, switching, and VPNs
- Conduct security assessments, patching, and performance tuning
- Implement vendor-specific best practices (Cisco, Fortinet, Palo Alto, WatchGuard, etc.)
- Assist with incident response and root cause analysis
- Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to deliver technical outcomes
- Maintain documentation and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives
Ideal Skills & Experience:
- Strong foundation in network security fundamentals and secure design principles
- Hands-on experience with multiple vendors (e.g. Cisco, Fortinet, Palo Alto, Aruba, WatchGuard)
- Experience working in either internal IT or MSP/consulting environments
- Relevant certifications highly regarded (CCNA Security, Fortinet NSE, Palo Alto PCNSA/PCNSE, etc.)
- Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills
- Ability to work both independently and within high-performance teams
