As part of an agile delivery team, you will contribute to the design and development of cutting-edge applications within a hybrid Microsoft and Azure cloud environment. You’ll collaborate closely with Software Developers, Testers, Scrum Masters, Business Analysts, and Delivery Managers to achieve successful outcomes.
What You’ll Bring
- Proven experience in designing and developing .NET applications.
- Strong knowledge of JavaScript frameworks such as Vue.js and Angular.
- Demonstrated success delivering complex, large-scale applications built on stateless services.
- Hands-on experience with modern cloud software design and Microsoft Azure technologies.
- Proficiency in databases, particularly SQL Server, and experience with Entity Framework Core.
- Strong API development skills and experience delivering business-focused APIs.
- Expertise in Agile methodologies and associated toolsets.
- Australian Citizenship with Baseline Security Clearance is required for this role due to the nature of the client.
Essential Skills and Experience
- Full-stack development experience using Vue.js and .NET Core Web APIs.
- Proven track record delivering complex enterprise applications in agile teams.
- Solid understanding of cloud-based development, preferably on Microsoft Azure.
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines, automated testing, and version control (e.g., Git).
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
Technical Expertise:
- .NET Core / .NET 5, 6
- Visual Studio 2019 / 2022, Visual Studio Code
- Azure DevOps
- Microsoft Web API / REST Architecture
- Modern software development using Microsoft Azure SaaS and PaaS Services (App Service, Function App, APIM, Service Bus, Azure SQL, Azure AD B2C)
- CI/CD Pipelines
- SQL Server 2014 and later
Additional Requirements:
- Experience developing high-volume transactional systems and/or complex integrated systems.
- Ability to manage relationships effectively in a challenging IT environment.
- Prior project delivery experience or working knowledge of Microsoft Azure PaaS and SaaS Services.
- Experience working in an Agile software development environment.
- Long-term contract with potential extension until 2027.
