About the Role
In this role, you will contribute to the development, support, and integration of enterprise systems, working across modern and legacy technologies. You’ll be part of a delivery team operating in either Agile environment, supporting key initiatives within the program.
Key Responsibilities
- Support and develop software systems within a Java/JEE-based environment
- Work across technologies including Kubernetes, Oracle, Unix/Windows, and modern web frameworks
- Collaborate with project teams to deliver solutions aligned with business requirements
- Assist with integration of third-party and off-the-shelf systems
- Contribute to documentation, reporting, and stakeholder communication
- Support project delivery through effective planning, organisation, and prioritisation
- Relevant tertiary qualifications or equivalent experience
- Experience working within ICT project teams using Agile or Waterfall methodologies
- Strong experience with:
- Java / JEE frameworks
- Kubernetes (containerisation)
- Oracle databases
- Unix and Windows environments
- Frontend technologies: HTML5, CSS, TypeScript, JavaScript, React
- Experience integrating third-party systems or COTS/GOTS solutions
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage competing priorities
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office or similar tools for documentation and reporting
- Experience working with complex data and statistical systems
- Exposure to back-end system integration and data ingestion pipelines
- Contribute to a key government transformation program
- Work within a collaborative, delivery-focused team
- Exposure to modern technologies and complex enterprise environments
