Our client who are a government organisation based in Brisbane are looking for an IT Manager to work part time on a short term contract. You will be overseeing a team of 5 people including x2 Systems Administrator's, X2 ICT Support Officers & an AV Technician. In this role you will oversee daily ICT operations, infrastructure, governance, budgets, and compliance while driving continuous improvement and team capability.
What you will do:
- Lead and manage the IT and AV team to deliver a secure, high-quality technology environment that supports organisational outcomes.
- Oversee day-to-day ICT operations, infrastructure, governance, budgets, compliance, and continuous improvement.
- Manage medium to large-scale ICT/AV projects, ensuring successful delivery and regular reporting to leadership.
- Ensure systems and data security, implementing improvements as required.
- You’re an experienced IT leader with a strong background in managing both IT and AV environments.
- You take a hands-on approach to operations, from service desk management to infrastructure, budgets, and compliance.
- You’re confident leading medium to large-scale technology projects and delivering results on time.
- You have a solid understanding of systems and data security, with the ability to identify risks and implement improvements.
