Emanate Technology is working with a key government client to find a Full Stack .NET Developer to join a high-performing delivery team.

You’ll be working across a mix of BAU and a long-term modernisation program, building and improving systems used across Parliamentary departments. It’s a hands-on role where you’ll collaborate closely with developers, architects, and stakeholders across cyber, infra and architecture.

What you’ll be doing:
  • Designing, building and testing .NET applications
  • Working closely with cyber security, infrastructure and architecture teams
  • Contributing to modern, secure, scalable solutions
  • Managing and prioritising work across a DevOps backlog
  • Collaborating with BAs, architects and other developers to deliver quality outcomes
  • Getting involved in broader delivery work to keep things moving
What we’re looking for:
  • 7+ years’ experience in software development across the full SDLC
  • Experience working in both Agile and Waterfall environments
  • Solid team experience and understanding of SDLC practices
  • Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills
  • Organised, detail-oriented, and able to manage competing priorities
  • Experience working on large or transformation programmes is a bonus
  • MUST HAVE NV1 DUE TO NATURE OF THE CLIENT AND SYSTEMS NEEDED TO ACCESS
Tech stack (you don’t need everything, but most of this):
  • .NET / .NET Core, C#
  • Web APIs (REST)
  • JavaScript / TypeScript + React or Angular
  • SQL Server, Entity Framework
  • Azure / cloud exposure (nice to have)
  • CI/CD pipelines, Azure DevOps (or similar)
  • Git / source control
Why it’s worth a look:
  • Long-term program of work (not short-term churn)
  • Meaningful government systems
  • Strong, collaborative team
  • Good mix of BAU + project work
If you look like a good match, we’ll reach out for a confidential chat to walk you through the role in more detail.
