Our client, a large enterprise organisation, is growing its Platform Engineering team and is looking for 3 Platform Engineers (2 x Azure, 1 x AWS) to support a major cloud transformation program.
The team is focused on moving away from ClickOps and manual infrastructure management, embracing Infrastructure as Code with Terraform to deliver scalable, automated and repeatable cloud services.
You'll play a key role in building and enhancing the organisation's cloud platform, working across areas such as Landing Zones, networking, security, governance and self-service infrastructure, helping enable engineering teams to consume cloud services in a secure and streamlined way.
These are separate Azure and AWS opportunities, so you don't need experience across both cloud platforms. Strong experience in either Azure or AWS, combined with Terraform and cloud automation expertise, will set you up for success.
What you will work on:
- Design, build, and maintain enterprise-scale cloud platforms across AWS OR Azure
- Develop and manage Infrastructure as Code (Terraform) for provisioning and orchestration
- Build and improve CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins for now) to enable reliable, automated deployments
- Create reusable platform components, including: Terraform modules, Shared services, Developer self-service capabilities
- Contribute to internal developer platform initiatives and engineering standards
Your Experience:
- Proven experience as a Senior Cloud, DevOps, or Platform Engineer in enterprise environments
- Strong hands-on experience working on AWS OR Azure Cloud Infrastructure
- Deep expertise in Infrastructure as Code using Terraform (essential)
- Experience designing and implementing CI/CD pipelines
