Working within a collaborative Agile delivery team, you will play a key role in designing, building, deploying, and supporting modern cloud infrastructure and DevOps capabilities. This role requires a strong technical background across AWS, Infrastructure as Code, CI/CD pipelines, containerisation, and cloud-native engineering practices.
You will work closely with technical teams, architects, and business stakeholders to deliver secure, scalable, and reliable solutions that support critical government services.

- Minimum 3 days per week in office

- Design, develop, deploy, and support cloud and data infrastructure solutions.
- Build and maintain secure, scalable, and reliable cloud environments.
- Implement and enhance DevOps practices, automation, and CI/CD pipelines.
- Prioritise and manage competing technical initiatives and project deliverables.
- Ensure solutions adhere to integration, security, and documentation best practices.
- Collaborate with technical and business stakeholders to define requirements and deliver outcomes.
- Provide technical leadership within Agile project teams.
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives across engineering and delivery practices.
- Support stakeholder engagement, technical discussions, and solution implementation activities.
- Extensive hands-on experience designing, implementing, and supporting AWS cloud infrastructure and services.
- Strong understanding of cloud architecture, security, scalability, and operational best practices.
- Demonstrated experience implementing Infrastructure as Code using Terraform.
- Proven experience establishing and maintaining DevOps toolchains and continuous delivery pipelines.

- Experience automating deployment, testing, monitoring, and operational processes.
- Strong experience using Git and modern software development practices.
- Sound understanding of Agile delivery methodologies.
- Ability to develop and maintain code across multiple languages, including:

- Kubernetes
- Experience deploying, managing, and supporting containerised applications and clustered environments.
- Experience administering both AWS and Azure environments.
- Experience with HashiCorp Vault and enterprise secrets management.
- Exposure to AI-enabled DevOps practices, including intelligent CI/CD automation and agent-based workflows for activities such as:
- Automated remediation
- Testing
- Documentation generation
- Operational support
- Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
