About the Role
As a Senior Data Analyst, you will
- Transform raw and complex datasets into meaningful insights and actionable reporting
- Develop and maintain Power BI dashboards, reports and data models
- Build clear, engaging visualisations to support business decision-making
- Analyse trends, patterns and business data to support operational and project outcomes
- Support cloud migration and data modernisation initiatives
- Prepare reports, briefings and data summaries for a variety of stakeholders
- Work with structured and unstructured data from multiple sources
- Develop Excel-based solutions, including Macros and User Forms
- Gather reporting requirements and work closely with business users to deliver solutions
- Contribute to ongoing improvements across reporting, analytics and data management practices
About You
- We're looking for someone with a strong blend of technical capability, analytical thinking and stakeholder engagement skills.
- You'll ideally bring:
- Experience working as a Data Analyst, BI Analyst or Reporting Analyst
- Strong Power BI experience, including DAX and data modelling
- Experience with Azure Databricks and/or Microsoft Fabric
- Experience supporting cloud migration, data migration or data transformation projects
- Strong SQL skills and experience working with large, complex datasets
- Experience using R and/or Python for analytics and automation
- Advanced Excel skills, including Macros and User Forms
- Experience with Power BI Report Builder and paginated reporting
- Experience working with geospatial data, mapping or spatial reporting
- Strong communication skills and the ability to engage stakeholders at all levels
- A proactive approach to problem-solving and continuous improvement
