You will play a critical role across multiple initiatives, with a major focus on cloud migration activities, working in a tight-knit multidisciplinary team environment.
About the Role:
As a Senior Data Analyst, you will be responsible for:
- Wrangling and transforming raw, unstructured datasets into actionable insights
- Building and maintaining high-quality Power BI models, dashboards, and reports
- Preparing comprehensive reports and data summaries using Power BI, R, and SQL
- Conducting analysis and reporting to support recovery and resilience projects
- Developing user-friendly Excel User Forms to streamline processes
Desired Skills and Experience:
- Experience in Data Migration and Data Engineering
- Hands-on experience with Azure Databricks and Microsoft Fabric
- Proficiency with Power BI, including report development and data modeling with DAX
- Strong Excel skills, including experience with Macros
- Experience in statistical analysis and automation using R, SQL, and/or Python
- Familiarity with Power BI Report Builder for paginated reporting
- Experience with geospatial data mapping, analysis, and visualisation
- Excellent organisational, problem-solving, and communication skills
- Must be an Australian Citizen
- Minimum Baseline AGSVA security clearance
