  • $150,000 - $160,000 + Super
  • 3 days in the office & 2 days working from home (Flexible start/finish times & around life admin)
  • Varied tech stack to work across
Summary of company & role:

Ever wanted the work you do to genuinely make a difference to the health & wellbeing of people's lives?

This is your chance. You’ll be building and managing mission-critical cloud infrastructure that underpins everything this company does.

They are a product based scaleup in Brisbane CBD that are looking for a Senior Cloud Engineer to work across both AWS & GCP environment's to ensure they are reliable, consistent and secure (Don't worry, you only need experience with AWS OR GCP, not both) You will also be supporting enterprise-level Kubernetes clusters, Argo Workflows, GitLab pipelines, and the core infrastructure that ties everything together.

If you want more variety in your day-to-day, enjoy being hands-on, and prefer lean, fast-moving environments without red tape, you’ll love this. There’s a mix of project work, but because of the criticality of the platform, reliability and observability will take priority.

Day to day/key responsibilities:
  • Ensure reliability and uptime of Enterprise grade GCP Kubernetes clusters (GKE) running critical workloads.
  • Manage and maintain Argo Workflows to orchestrate pipelines efficiently and reliably.
  • Oversee ArgoCD deployments across clusters, maintaining safe and consistent GitOps practices.
  • Maintain and improve observability across cloud infrastructure and pipelines using Prometheus, OpenTelemetry, and Signoz.
  • Support AWS workloads including EC2, Lambda, API Gateway, and RDS, integrated with GCP environments.
About You:
  • You have solid experience with GCP and/or AWS, particularly Kubernetes (GKE/EKS), Argo Workflows, ArgoCD, and cloud infrastructure.
  • You understand reliability and observability - monitoring, metrics, alerting, and incident response are second nature to you.
  • You enjoy a varied role where you are comfortable stepping into different areas of the stack when needed.
  • You enjoy working in lean, fast-moving environments, collaborating with multiple squads, and helping improve systems while keeping uptime and performance high.

If this role sounds like you then please press APPLY NOW or reach out to will.davies@emanatetechnology.com.au for more info. And do not worry if your CV is out of date, we can sort that out later.
