About the role
We’re partnering with a major enterprise undergoing significant transformation and are seeking an experienced Senior Technical Business Analyst to support a high‑impact Docs & Notices uplift. This is a hands‑on role suited to someone who thrives in complex technical environments and can translate business intent into delivery‑ready technical scope.
You’ll work closely with Business Analysts, Technical Leads and Architects to shape integrated functional and non‑functional requirements, ensuring engineering teams have the clarity they need for predictable, high‑quality delivery.
What you will be doing
- Leading the elicitation and elaboration of technical requirements across multiple stakeholders, ensuring scope is integrated, accurate and delivery‑
- Translating business requirements and solution designs into detailed functional and non‑functional specifications aligned to enterprise patterns and platform capabilities.
- Facilitating trade‑off discussions to balance business outcomes with technical feasibility, sustainability and constraints.
- Building and maintaining a high‑quality delivery backlog, including Jira initiatives, epics and stories with clear acceptance criteria and dependencies.
- Ensuring end‑to‑end traceability between business requirements, benefits, architectural inputs and technical backlog items.
- Contributing to the standardisation and continuous improvement of pre‑delivery processes, artefacts and technical practices.
- Supporting agile ways of working and helping reduce downstream delivery friction through clarity, consistency and strong technical stewardship.
- Strong experience as a Technical Business Analyst within complex enterprise environments.
- Hands‑on experience working with Docs & Notices platforms, including:
- SmartComm (including templates)
- Scriptura
- FileNet
- Proven ability to define and validate non‑functional requirements (performance, security, scalability, reliability).
- Demonstrated capability in backlog creation, refinement and traceability across large‑scale programs.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with architects, engineers, SMEs and E2E BAs.
- Strong analytical thinking, structured communication and a knack for simplifying technical complexity.
- Experience working within transformation or pre‑delivery models.
- Exposure to two‑speed or hybrid delivery environments.
- A continuous improvement mindset with the ability to identify and resolve recurring delivery friction.
- Familiarity with agile and scrum practices in large enterprise settings.
