In collaboration with the Queensland State Government, Emanate Technology is looking for a Senior Business Analyst to join an innovative ICT program. This role offers the opportunity to shape business solutions, influence stakeholders, and deliver impactful change across multiple government departments.
What you’ll be doing
- Scoping business and solution requirements into clear, testable user stories
- Analysing processes and creating BPMN diagrams to support project delivery
- Facilitating stakeholder workshops to gather insights and align objectives
- Leading business impact assessments to inform program decisions
- Advising on project artefacts, including functional requirements, statements of work, and benefits management
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams in Agile iterations and sprint cycles
- Representing the department in consultations with government and non-government stakeholders
What you need to bring
- Delivering business requirements capture and analysis in a government context
- Implementing O365 solutions
- Applying Agile solutions through iteration and sprint cycles
- Modelling business processes using BPMN and tools like MS Visio
- Managing requirements using Azure DevOps or JIRA
- Leading stakeholder consultation, negotiation, and communication
- Supporting project management activities aligned with PRINCE2 or Agile methodologies

- Driving business reform or transformation projects
- Implementing SharePoint and M365 architecture solutions
- Producing end-to-end project documentation and artefacts
- Collaborating across multiple departments to achieve outcomes
