In collaboration with the Queensland State Government, Emanate Technology is looking for an experienced Senior Business Analyst. In this role, you’ll bring your expertise in Agile business requirements to a multi-year digital transformation initiative modernising case management systems with a significant impact on state services, safety, and compliance.
What you’ll be doing
- Scoping business requirements in an Agile ICT program
- Leading requirements gathering, modelling, and stakeholder engagement in line with approved standards
- Collaborating on user story creation, backlog refinement, and DevOps processes
- Supporting product managers, product owners, and delivery teams with analysis and guidance
- Building positive relationships across teams, fostering engagement and communication
- Supporting organisational change and business process alignment through requirements definition
What you need to bring
- Proven experience in Agile analysis for complex digital transformation projects
- Strong stakeholder negotiation, consultation, and communication skills
- Knowledge of predictive and adaptive requirements approaches for competing priorities
- Proficiency with BPMN, UML, and other requirements notations, including traceability methods
- Ability to represent and mentor Product Owners and guide delivery teams
- Experience establishing and reporting on measurable requirements quality and completeness

- Immediate or short-term availability
- Consulting background (Tier 1, 2, or 3 firms)
- Experience in business or digital transformation, particularly in regulatory environments
- Familiarity with CRM or case management solutions (e.g., Microsoft Dynamics 365, JIRA)
- Experience in design and build workflow technologies
