About the Role
We’re partnering with a large organisation undergoing a significant finance systems transformation and are seeking an experienced SAP Trainer to support end-user readiness for the transition to SAP S/4HANA.
You’ll play a pivotal role in designing and delivering high-quality learning solutions that help diverse user groups confidently adopt new systems, processes, and ways of working. This is a hands-on role that blends training design, facilitation, stakeholder engagement, and continuous improvement.
What You Will Be Doing
- Developing the overall training strategy and detailed training plan.
- Conducting training needs analysis across various user groups and role types.
- Designing and developing engaging training materials — user guides, quick reference guides, eLearning, videos, and other blended learning content.
- Facilitating training delivery through classroom, virtual, and hybrid formats.
- Coordinating training schedules, logistics, and supporting training administration.
- Evaluating training effectiveness and incorporating improvements into future content.
- Ensuring alignment with SAP Activate methodology and project delivery milestones.
- Collaborating closely with Change Managers, project teams, and business stakeholders to ensure a cohesive and effective learning experience.
- Demonstrated experience designing and delivering SAP training programs (SAP S/4HANA highly regarded).
- Experience developing training for systems that integrate with SAP (e.g., SAP Analytics Cloud, budgeting and reporting systems, payment platforms).
- Strong understanding of SAP Finance (FI), Asset Management and related modules.
- Proven capability using learning authoring tools to create a variety of digital and in-person training resources.
- Excellent facilitation, communication, and stakeholder engagement skills.
- Strong written documentation skills and attention to detail.
- Experience working within government or other highly regulated environments.
- SAP Learning Journeys or other SAP training certifications.
- Experience supporting large-scale finance transformation or ERP programs.
- Designing blended learning programs across large, diverse workforces.
- Strong understanding of organisational change management methods.
