Retail Solutions Analytics & Insights Expert
A Insight Analyst is required on a 6-month contract to support the Retail Solutions Analytics and Insights team in reducing a significant reporting backlog. This role focuses on reviewing existing reports, optimising processes, and implementing automated reporting solutions that enable the team to shift toward higher-value analytical work.
What you’ll be doing
• Review, streamline, and automate existing reports in collaboration with operational teams.
• Analyse current reporting processes to identify inefficiencies and automation opportunities.
• Develop and implement solutions to enhance report accuracy, efficiency, and delivery.
• Apply strong data analysis, modelling, and reporting automation expertise.
• Support the transition from manual reporting to automated, scalable solutions.
What you bring
• Strong experience solving analytical problems using quantitative approaches.
• Ability to manipulate and analyse complex, high-volume data from multiple sources.
• Proficiency in a scripting language such as Python or R.
• Strong SQL skills and familiarity with relational databases.
• Expert knowledge of an analytics tool such as Dataiku.
• Experience developing data models and integrating multiple datasets or systems.
• Experience working with large datasets; predictive modelling and segmentation skills are a bonus.
• Ability to communicate complex analysis clearly and in plain language.
• Excellent experience working with internal & external stakeholders
