Project Manager - Telecommunications

We’re looking for an experienced Project Manager to lead the planning, delivery, and execution of communications infrastructure projects across the mining and commercial sectors. You’ll take ownership from initial design and estimation through to completion, ensuring projects are delivered safely, on time, within budget, and to a high standard.

In this role, you’ll coordinate resources, manage stakeholders, oversee governance reporting, and guide project teams through each phase of delivery. It’s a great fit for someone who thrives in a fast paced environment, communicates confidently, and knows how to keep complex workstreams moving.

What you’ll be doing
  • Managing end to end project delivery, from planning through to close out

  • Defining project scope, objectives, roles, and responsibilities

  • Developing project budgets, schedules, and resource plans

  • Tracking progress, reporting status, and managing changes to scope, schedule, and budget

  • Identifying risks and implementing mitigation strategies

  • Coordinating internal teams, subcontractors, suppliers, and external partners

  • Maintaining strong communication with clients and stakeholders

  • Leading and motivating project teams to achieve successful outcomes

  • Completing project close out activities and capturing lessons learned

What you’ll bring
  • 5+ years’ experience managing projects in mining or commercial communications infrastructure

  • Practical experience in the communications industry (3+ years)

  • Strong understanding of commercial contracts and ability to represent vendor and client interests

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, MS Project, and Primavera

  • Excellent communication, stakeholder engagement, and time?management skills

  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively

  • Entitlement to work in Australia and a current C Class driver’s licence

  • Willingness to travel as required
