About the role
We are seeking experienced Project Managers to support a portfolio of initiatives within a large and well established organisation's environment. These roles require candidates who can step straight into a structured delivery framework and take ownership of projects at varying stages of mobilisation, definition, delivery and closure.
You’ll be working within a mature PMO environment, delivering end-to-end project outcomes and ensuring alignment with established governance, reporting and quality standards.
What you will be doing
- Leading end-to-end project delivery, including mobilisation, scoping, planning, execution, post go live support and closure.
- Developing project plans, schedules, estimates and delivery approaches in line with organisational frameworks.
- Preparing key project artefacts such as Project Briefs, PIDs, Business Cases and Steering Group packs.
- Coordinating project teams and stakeholders across technical, business and governance groups.
- Managing budgets, risks, issues and dependencies to ensure on time and quality delivery.
- Providing regular project status, health and performance reporting to senior stakeholders.
- Ensuring adherence to project management, testing, change and software development standards throughout the lifecycle.
- Minimum 5 years’ experience as a Project Manager delivering structured, end-to-end projects.
- Strong capability in project planning, governance, reporting and stakeholder engagement.
- Demonstrated experience producing high quality project artefacts within a formal delivery framework.
- Proficiency with project management methodologies (Agile, Waterfall, Prince2) and tools (e.g., MS Project, Asana).
- Excellent communication, leadership and problem solving skills.
- Higher Education sector experience is essential or highly desirable due to the governance and stakeholder environment.
- Brisbane based and available to commence immediately.
- Experience delivering SaaS or COTS solution procurements and implementations.
- Background in government or other highly regulated environments.
- Familiarity with AI related tools or technologies.
