In collaboration with the Queensland State Government, Emanate Technology is looking for an experienced Project Manager to deliver a strategic data and planning transformation within the higher education sector. This role focuses on improving forecasting accuracy, scenario planning and decision-making capability across a complex enterprise environment.
What you’ll be doing
- Scoping clear objectives, requirements and data modelling needs
- Leading end-to-end delivery of complex data and technology initiatives
- Driving planning, forecasting and scenario capability improvements
- Overseeing analytics, dashboards and reporting from design to delivery
- Coordinating internal teams and external vendors across multiple workstreams
- Managing risks, issues, dependencies and change with strong governance
- Engaging executive and operational stakeholders to enable adoption
- Embedding data governance, security and compliance standards
What you need to bring
- Experience delivering complex IT projects with full lifecycle accountability
- A track record implementing planning and forecasting platforms such as Anaplan
- Demonstrated success leading BI, analytics and reporting initiatives
- Proven capability producing structured PM artefacts and managing budgets
- Strong background building trusted relationships with senior stakeholders
- Hands-on involvement managing vendors, contracts and commercial outcomes
- Practical expertise applying agile delivery tools including JIRA

- Previous involvement delivering projects within higher education environments
- Exposure supporting cloud-based data and enterprise architectures
- Hands-on experience enabling connected planning or advanced scenario modelling
- Demonstrated success working within regulated or compliance-driven settings
