In collaboration with the Queensland State Government, Emanate Technology is looking for an experienced Project Manager to lead the end-to-end delivery of a department-wide transition to Microsoft Windows 11. This is a large-scale ICT transformation program requiring strong governance, technical expertise, and proven delivery of enterprise-level operating system migrations.
What you’ll be doing
- Scoping project plans in line with Queensland Government ICT frameworks
- Leading cross-functional teams through readiness, testing, and deployment
- Managing risks, issues, and dependencies to keep delivery on track
- Engaging stakeholders, ICT teams, vendors, and change leaders
- Coordinating pilots and full rollout phases via Intune/Configuration Manager
- Ensuring compliance with cybersecurity, data governance, and asset policies
- Monitoring progress and preparing clear reports for governance bodies
- Supporting user readiness through training, comms, and help desk uplift
- Liaising with agencies to align schedules and share efficiencies
- Closing out projects with handover, evaluation, and lessons learned
What you need to bring
- Experience delivering ICT infrastructure or OS upgrade projects at scale
- Knowledge applying cybersecurity requirements and CIS Benchmarks
- Familiarity managing Intune architecture and hybrid environments
- Ability developing change and training strategies for end users
- Skills preparing handover documentation and knowledge transfer
- Strength in managing vendors, contracts, and technical delivery
- Expertise working with Microsoft Windows 10/11 environments
- Capability engaging stakeholders and presenting to governance forums
Bonus points for…
- Experience delivering projects using PRINCE2, PMBOK, or Agile methods
- Certification in Microsoft Windows administration or system management
- Familiarity delivering with SCCM, Intune, or other deployment tools
- Understanding operating within QLD Government ICT frameworks
