Lead a high-profile Salesforce CRM transformation within Queensland Government
In collaboration with the Queensland State Government, Emanate Technology is looking for a seasoned Project Director to lead a large-scale Salesforce CRM replacement program. This is a high-profile, long-term engagement where you’ll provide calm, confident leadership across governance, delivery and change, guiding a complex organisation through a significant technology transformation.
This contract runs through to 30 June 2027, is Brisbane-based, and suits someone who can step in immediately, establish control, and confidently steer a major government program.
What you’ll be doing
- Scoping the delivery of a large-scale Salesforce CRM replacement
- Designing fit-for-purpose governance and delivery frameworks
- Directing procurement and vendor engagement activities
- Orchestrating multiple workstreams including integrations and data migration
- Maintaining control of scope, schedule, budget and benefits
- Identifying and managing risks, issues and dependencies
- Guiding organisational change to support platform adoption
- Briefing senior executives and governance boards with clarity
- Producing concise reports, papers and decision artefacts
- Strengthening stakeholder relationships across government and partners
What you need to bring
- Proven leadership of large-scale Salesforce or enterprise CRM implementations
- Demonstrated delivery within Queensland Government or similar public sector environments
- Strong capability in governing complex projects with multiple dependencies
- Hands-on experience across procurement, implementation and transition phases
- A track record of managing change in low-maturity delivery settings
- Confidence in presenting to senior executives and boards
- Depth of skill in risk, financial and resource management
- A people-first approach to leading teams through uncertainty

Important to know
- This role will require a strong on-site presence of 4 – 5 days per week
