Program Scheduler – Data & Analytics Program Location: Brisbane, QLD
Contract Type: Part-time (5 days per fortnight)



About the Role
Emanate Technology is seeking a detail-oriented and technically proficient Program Scheduler to support a complex, multi-stream program of work within a government department. This role is part of a high-profile initiative focused on data governance and enterprise data platform delivery, aimed at improving access to trusted, timely information for public servants across Queensland.

You’ll play a key role in building and maintaining integrated schedules across multiple projects, ensuring alignment of milestones, dependencies, and deliverables. This is a fantastic opportunity to contribute to a transformational program that supports evidence-informed decision-making and service delivery.

What You Will Be Doing

  • Developing and maintaining integrated master schedules across key projects.
  • Identifying dependencies and providing accurate reporting on activities, milestones, and deliverables.
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams including project managers, architects, data specialists, and engineers.
  • Managing schedule progress and supporting the resolution of delays, risks, and blockers using PERT and Critical Path Method (CPM).
  • Leading schedule risk assessments, dependency mapping, and forecasting sessions.
  • Supporting program-wide reporting and governance insights using tools like Power BI.
  • Contributing to scenario planning and variance analysis.
  • Assisting with resource planning, workload forecasting, and alignment with scope and budget.
  • Ensuring adherence to scheduling standards and governance requirements.
What You Will Bring
  • 5+ years’ experience in project/program scheduling within complex technical or enterprise IT environments.
  • Experience supporting data-centric projects (e.g., data platforms, governance, analytics, cloud infrastructure) is highly desirable.
  • Strong proficiency in scheduling tools such as Microsoft Project, Primavera P6, or similar.
  • Solid understanding of data governance, architecture, or platform engineering workflows.
  • Experience managing dependencies across multiple workstreams and vendors.
  • Familiarity with Agile and hybrid delivery models.
  • Excellent communication, stakeholder engagement, and collaboration skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and a proactive, analytical mindset.
Bonus Points For
  • Experience with JIRA, Confluence, and advanced Excel.
  • Power BI or other reporting tools.
  • Familiarity with cloud platforms such as Azure, AWS, or GCP.
