In collaboration with the Queensland State Government, Emanate Technology is looking for an experienced Senior Procurement Officer who is ready to play a pivotal role in delivering high-quality procurement services with a focus on tracking, monitoring and reporting on contractor compliance matters.

What you’ll be doing
  • Delivering end-to-end procurement services, including planning, sourcing, and contract management.
  • Providing timely, accurate procurement advice.
  • Guiding team members on procurement policies and processes.
  • Maintaining comprehensive records for audit and accountability.
  • Managing sourcing processes and contract negotiations.
  • Contributing to the development of procurement systems and policies.
  • Preparing reports and briefings, offering expert procurement advice.
  • Staying informed on current procurement strategies and government initiatives.
  • Assisting with branch planning, budgeting, and performance reporting.

  • A customer focus with a proactive approach!
  • Experience in delivering high-quality procurement services across various stages, including planning, sourcing, and contract management.
  • Ability to provide relevant and accurate procurement advice in a timely manner.
  • Experience in supervising and guiding teams on procurement policies and practices.
  • Strong record-keeping skills to maintain comprehensive documentation for audit purposes.
  • Experience in managing risk and engaging with the marketplace during procurement processes.
  • Contribution to the development and review of procurement policies and strategies.
  • Expertise in preparing detailed reports, briefings, and providing senior management with sound procurement advice.

Bonsu points for…
  • Experience with Training Policy Administration System (TPAS), Prequalification System (PQC) and Ethical Supplier Mandate.
  • Experience in a government or public sector procurement role.
  • Familiarity with Queensland Procurement Policy and procurement best practices.
  • Strong stakeholder management skills, particularly in complex or inter-agency environments.
  • A proven track record of driving change and innovation within procurement functions.
