Principal Procurement Officer

In collaboration with the Queensland State Government, Emanate Technology is looking for a Principal Procurement Officer (AO7). This role plays a key part in delivering ICT procurement excellence across government, ensuring value, compliance, and innovation in every contract.


What you’ll be doing

• Scoping ICT procurement from initiation to contract execution.
• Leading sourcing, tendering, and negotiation under QITC and QPP.
• Managing contract renewals, performance, and service levels.
• Developing team capability and improving procurement practices.
• Preparing procurement and supplier performance reports.
• Representing TDS in committees, working groups, and vendor forums.
• Collaborating with ICT leaders to build supplier relationships.

• Experience delivering ICT procurement under QITC and QPP.
• Proven ability managing contracts, vendors, and performance.
• Demonstrated capability leading teams in fast-paced environments.
• Strong skills in prioritising tasks and resolving workflow issues.
• Knowledge of software licensing, audits, and governance controls.

• Experience delivering vendor initiatives that drive innovation.
• Success engaging stakeholders to enhance procurement outcomes
