Step up into a senior role where your technical skills shapes the future of this Enterprise organisation's Azure Cloud Environment based in Brisbane. You’ll take ownership of the Azure platform, driving innovation and automation at enterprise scale. With hybrid flexibility and a focus on cutting-edge tech, you’ll truly have the freedom to implement your ideas and make a real impact.
You will help this organisation move away from ClickOps and cloud as a service, where you will guide the application teams to adopt new Azure PaaS services securely, define guardrails, and codify best practices utilsing CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins), Terraform, and PowerShell.
You will work 3 days in the Office & 2 days working from home, plus receive flexibility in your day to daytoo. You’ll also guide a team of engineers, sharing your knowledge and helping them grow while you progress your own leadership skills.
What you’ll do
- Own the design, implementation, and management of the Azure cloud platform, ensuring it’s robust, scalable, and secure
- Lead the adoption of Infrastructure as Code using Terraform
- Drive automation across provisioning, configuration, and deployment, using CI/CD tools using Jenkins
- Implement monitoring and logging solutions with Dynatrace and Azure Monitor to ensure visibility and proactive issue resolution
- Design secure network architectures and enforce security best practices, including IAM, encryption, and compliance
- Extensive experience with Azure cloud services and architecture, with enterprise-scale platform management
- Strong skills in IaC, automation, and CI/CD, using Terraform, Jenkins, PowerShell and more
- Experience leading and mentoring engineers, with the ability to communicate complex ideas clearly
