People & Culture Data Analyst
Location: Adelaide SA | Type: Full Time

Emanate Technology is supporting ASC, Australia’s sovereign submarine builder, in seeking an experienced P&C Data Analyst to drive workforce insights, reporting frameworks, and data quality across the People & Culture function. This role plays a key part in enabling strategic workforce planning, organisational design, and ASC’s broader transformation agenda.
About the Role The P&C Data Analyst is responsible for delivering accurate, meaningful, and scalable reporting solutions that support enterprise-wide decision making. You will build dashboards, improve data governance, uplift data literacy across P&C, and streamline reporting through automation and system optimisation.

Key Responsibilities Reporting & Analytics
  • Build, maintain, and automate workforce reports, dashboards and analytics models.
  • Develop scalable reporting frameworks aligned to business priorities.
  • Improve integrations and data transfer processes.
Data Governance & Quality
  • Conduct data audits and ensure accuracy, compliance, and secure access controls.
  • Resolve data quality issues and uphold governance processes.
Stakeholder Engagement
  • Act as a trusted advisor to P&C and business leaders.
  • Translate complex data into clear insights; deliver user training and support.
  • Drive adoption of self-service reporting and metrics.
Continuous Improvement
  • Streamline reporting processes, improve data flows, and assist with system enhancements.
  • Document processes and support digital transformation initiatives.
Skills & Experience Essential
  • Tertiary qualification in HR, IT, Analytics or related field.
  • 6+ years’ experience in reporting, analytics, or HR data roles.
  • Strong experience with Power BI, Tableau or similar.
  • Experience developing dashboards, reporting frameworks, and analytical models.
  • Understanding of data governance, privacy and compliance requirements.
  • Experience with HRIS platforms (SAP SuccessFactors, Workday, Oracle HCM, etc.).
  • Strong stakeholder engagement and communication skills.
Highly Desirable
  • Experience with Workday and/or PageUp(configuration, reporting or integrations).
  • Defence, complex industrial, or large enterprise environment experience.
