Enagagement: 3 month contract
Location: Adelaide
We are partnering with a leading organisation in Adelaide to secure an experienced Fortinet Firewall Engineer for an initial 1–3 month contract, with strong potential for extension into Q1 next year.
This is a hands-on technical role ideal for a Fortinet specialist who can hit the ground running and support a busy network and security environment.
Responsibilities
- Configuration, management and support of FortiGate firewalls
- Ongoing administration and optimisation using FortiManager
- Implementation of firewall policies, NAT rules and security profiles
- Troubleshooting complex network and security issues
- Supporting firewall upgrades, patching and change activities
- Working closely with internal IT and network teams
Skills & Experience
- Proven hands-on experience with Fortinet FortiGate & FortiManager
- Strong networking fundamentals including TCP/IP, routing and switching
- Solid understanding of network security principles
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving capability
- Excellent communication and documentation skills
- Previous contract experience highly regarded
