We are seeking an experienced MDM Subject Matter Expert to lead a major migration from an existing AirWatch environment to Microsoft Intune. This role is central to the design, delivery, and transition of a modern device management solution, ensuring it meets stringent security and architectural requirements.
You’ll work closely with a broader project team, providing frank, fearless technical advice and guiding the organisation through a seamless migration and decommissioning of legacy capability.
Key Responsibilities
- Assess and document the current AirWatch environment, including device configurations, compliance policies, applications, and enrolment methods.
- Design and implement Intune policies, configuration profiles, compliance policies, application deployments, and security baselines.
- Ensure solution architecture aligns with and meets ML2 requirements.
- Develop and execute migration plans, cutover activities, rollback procedures, and transition schedules.
- Coordinate device enrolment and re‑enrolment across mobile devices, laptops, and corporate-owned devices.
- Support pilot deployments, UAT activities, and issue resolution.
- Troubleshoot enrolment, compliance, application delivery, and conditional access issues.
- Collaborate with security, infrastructure, service desk, and EUC teams to ensure successful delivery.
- Produce operational support documentation, knowledge articles, and SOPs.
- Provide post‑migration hypercare and support transition into BAU operations.

What Will Make You Successful
- Demonstrated experience designing and transitioning MDM solutions into Intune.
- Strong background in AirWatch.
- Knowledge of security standards and frameworks such as PSPF, ISM, ASD Essential 8.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to translate complex technical concepts for diverse stakeholders.
