About the Role
As the Power Platform & M365 Governance Administrator, you will lead the operational management, governance, and oversight of Microsoft’s collaboration and automation ecosystem. Your work will ensure safe adoption, strong guardrails, and consistent standards across Power Apps, Power Automate, Dataverse, Copilot Studio, and broader Microsoft 365 services.
You’ll partner closely with Cyber Security, Enterprise Architecture, and business stakeholders to assess risks, implement controls, and uplift platform maturity.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee administration and governance of Power Platform environments, including Power Apps, Power Automate, Dataverse, and Copilot Studio.
- Develop and maintain governance frameworks, standards, policies, and guardrails for Microsoft 365 and Power Platform services.
- Manage tenant settings, licensing, capacity, security controls, and managed environments.
- Implement and maintain Data Loss Prevention policies, monitoring, alerting, and audit capabilities.
- Support safe adoption of AI, automation, citizen development, and Copilot Studio capabilities.
- Provide training, guidance, and operational support to platform users and citizen developers.
- Collaborate with technical and business teams to assess risks, strengthen controls, and deliver platform improvements.
- Strong experience administering Power Platform environments (Power Apps, Power Automate, Dataverse).
- Background in Microsoft 365 administration, governance, security, and compliance.
- Experience implementing DLP policies, monitoring, auditing, and security controls.
- Ability to assess technical risks and recommend practical governance solutions.
- Excellent communication, documentation, and stakeholder engagement skills.
- Experience with Copilot Studio, AI agents, and automation solutions.
- Background in governance models for citizen development programs.
- Knowledge of Dynamics 365, Dataverse integration, and enterprise platform architecture.
- Experience integrating telemetry, audit logs, and monitoring with SIEM or enterprise security platforms.
- Understanding of responsible AI, AI governance, and risk management frameworks.
- Relevant Microsoft certifications (Power Platform, Microsoft 365, Dynamics 365).
- Full‑time role based in Canberra.
- AFP check required; no security clearance needed.
- Open only to Australian Citizens and Permanent Residents.
- Initial 6‑month contract with potential extension to 12 months.
