We’re partnering with a leading global technology provider to recruit a Level 2 Service Desk Analyst to support a secure, enterprise environment based in Canberra. This role is suited to someone ready to step up from Level 1 and take ownership of incident coordination and proactive system monitoring in a clearance-required setting.
You’ll be responsible for monitoring system health and availability, acting as the first escalation point for Level 1 support teams, and coordinating incidents and service requests across multiple stakeholder groups. The role involves initial investigation, accurate reporting, and timely escalation to Level 3 engineers or management.
Key responsibilities include:
- Proactive monitoring of infrastructure, applications, and system alerts
- Managing incident and service request queues and providing Level 2 support
- Coordinating with resolver groups and managing tickets
- User account and access management within Active Directory
- Supporting system performance reporting, capacity monitoring, and routine tasks
- Assisting with change requests, outage communications, and SOP updates
- Minimum 1 year experience in a Service Desk or IT support role
- Strong troubleshooting, coordination, and communication skills
- Experience working in secure, enterprise environments
- Experience in a Defence environment (Desirable)
- Current NV2 security clearance (mandatory)
- Canberra-based role supporting secure, mission-critical systems
- Exposure to large-scale enterprise and government environments
- Clear pathway toward Level 3 or infrastructure roles
- Supportive, process-driven team
- 12 month contract with renewals
