Our client is a well-established organisation within Queensland’s education sector, currently seeking an IT Support Officer to assist with the day-to-day management of their internal systems. They are based just outside of Brisbane CBD.
This role will be a mix of Level 1 and Level 2 support, including managing helpdesk tickets, troubleshooting issues across laptops, desktops, and general hardware.
Beyond traditional support, a key part of this role will focus on enhancing productivity through better use of the Microsoft 365 suite - including Teams, SharePoint, Forms, and Power Automate. The ideal candidate will have a proactive mindset, with the ability to review existing processes, identify areas for improvement, and help streamline workflows as the organisation continues to mature its IT environment.
What you will be doing day to day:
• Provide IT Helpdesk services, troubleshooting and assisting end users.
• Manage IT Helpdesk tickets, planning and prioritising systematically to minimise backlog and ensure operational efficiency.
• Review age and performance of laptops, desktop machines and other devices with a view to upgrade as required.
• Review M365 tooling across Teams, SharePoint, Forms, and Power Automate.
Your background:
• Demonstrated experience managing and supporting large, multi-site, networks.
• Demonstrated extensive working knowledge in Microsoft suite of products, including system administration and cybersecurity products.
• Demonstrated understanding of current industry IT trends, especially those that relate to the provision of E-12 services.
• Experience developing solutions using Microsoft Teams, SharePoint, Workflows and Forms.
