A major Queensland enterprise currently undertaking a multi-year digital transformation program is looking for an experienced Integration Analyst to join their dedicated integration team. This is a brand-new role created to bridge the gap between business requirements, solution architecture, and technical delivery across several core enterprise platforms.
About the Role
This role is the perfect mix between technical and integration analysis and business/solutions focus. We are looking for someone with a solid technical understanding and analysis skills, who understands the mechanics of system-to-system integrations. You will partner closely with Domain Leads, Solution Architects, Business Analysts, and technical delivery teams to understand business constraints and translate them into clear, actionable technical integration specifications.
Key Responsibilities
- Map information flows and system-to-system integrations across multiple core enterprise systems.
- Translate high-level business requirements and architectural constraints into clear technical specifications, user stories, and integration artefacts.
- Analyse data structures, payloads, and message exchanges across interconnected applications.
- Collaborate with Domain Managers, Architects, and technical squads to ensure delivery alignment.
- Maintain a clear view of how information travels across the application landscape.
- Strong Technical Background: Prior experience in software engineering, technical analysis, systems analysis or integration architecture
- Integration Focus: Solid understanding of modern integration patterns, APIs, and middleware architectures
- Tool & Format Literacy: Hands-on ability to read, interpret, and work with APIs, JSON, and XML payloads
- Platform Awareness: Broad exposure to enterprise integration platforms (e.g., MuleSoft, Dell Boomi, Azure Integration Services/Microsoft stack) - a platform-agnostic mindset is highly valued
- Artefact Delivery: Proven track record in creating high-quality technical documentation, mapping sheets, and user stories for technical squads
- Stakeholder Management: Excellent communication skills to comfortably interface between domain stakeholders and engineering teams
