This enterprise are looking at the changing the way they build and deliver code and the team of 15 that you will be managing are building the platforms and developer experience to improve on that. Within this role you will be influencing how teams work, uplifting capability, and setting the strategy for developer experience and platform engineering.
Specifically, looking at things like local development environments, self service capabilities, automating onboarding and more.
You can be based in Brisbane or Sydney for this role and its a hybrid working environment (3 days in the Office & 2 working from home).
What you’ll do:
- Lead, mentor, and grow your team while shaping workforce capability
- Influence platform strategy, DevEx improvements, and modernisation programs
- Collaborate across Product, Architecture, Cloud, and Security teams
- Promote innovation, experimentation, and continuous improvements
- Experienced in DevOps, Platform or systems leadership
- Comfortable guiding teams through change and uplift
- Strong influencer with excellent stakeholder skills
- Knowledgeable in engineering practices - CI/CD, cloud-native, SaaS platforms, automation
