We're partnering with an exciting Brisbane-based FinTech scale-up that's transforming the way financial services are delivered through modern technology. Due to continued growth, they're looking for a talented Front End Engineer to join their engineering team and help shape the next generation of customer-facing products.
The Opportunity
As a Front End Engineer, you'll work closely with Product Managers, Designers, and Back End Engineers to deliver engaging and scalable web applications. You'll play a key role in designing and developing features that directly impact thousands of users, while contributing to the evolution of the company's front-end architecture and engineering practices.

What You'll Be Doing
- Building modern, responsive web applications using Angular or React
- Developing reusable components and front-end frameworks
- Collaborating with UX/UI designers to create exceptional user experiences
- Working with REST APIs and integrating front-end services with backend systems
- Contributing to technical design, architecture discussions, and engineering best practices
- Writing clean, maintainable, and well-tested code
- Participating in code reviews and mentoring team members where appropriate
- Helping improve CI/CD pipelines and development processes
- Commercial experience developing applications with Angular and/or React
- Strong knowledge of TypeScript, JavaScript, HTML5, and CSS3
- Experience building responsive and accessible web applications
- Understanding of modern front-end architecture and component-based development
- Experience integrating with APIs and working within Agile teams
- Familiarity with testing frameworks and automated testing practices
- Strong communication skills and a collaborative mindset
- Experience within FinTech, financial services, payments, lending, or SaaS environments
- Exposure to Azure, AWS, or cloud-native architectures
- Knowledge of performance optimisation and security best practices
- Experience with CI/CD and DevOps tooling
